Three shortlists for iProspect UK at the Festival of Media Global Awards 2026

We’re proud to share that iProspect UK has secured three shortlists at the prestigious Festival of Media Global Awards 2026, recognising our standout work in partnership with Netflix and Global.

Building on momentum of its previous recognition at the Campaign Media Awards, The Stranger Things Radio Station that Turned Britain Upside Down continues to make waves on the global stage – continuing to be celebrated for the innovative use of media, creativity and cultural impact.

Recognition at the Festival of Media Global Awards 2026

The Festival of Media Global Awards celebrate the very best media in innovation, effectiveness and collaboration across the world. To be shortlisted is to be recognised among the leading campaigns shaping the future of media – making this achievement a testament to the strength of our thinking, partnerships and execution on a global scale.

Stranger Things Season 5 was the culmination of a generation-defining series, and the fan’s excitement was beyond measure. Our aim was to create a campaign that would spark conversation, fuel theories and transport fans to 1980’s Hawkins, Indiana. We wanted to create a universe for Stranger Things fans to live in whilst they waited for the next episode to drop.

The result? We bought WSQK The Squawk to life as the UK’s first branded radio station. A 24/7 broadcast available on DAB, smart speakers and Global player – with over 1000 hours of original content.

Launched with cryptic clues, we allowed listeners to crack coded messages to unlock access to an exclusive fan event. Every detail was deliberate and intentional – straight out of The Duffer Brother’s playbook.

The campaign turned creative ambition into tangible outcomes, and Stranger Things was the most watched programme on BVOD and SVOD over the Christmas period. Episodes topped 4m views outpacing much of linear TV.

WSQK delivered 6.3m Global Player listening sessions and 2.3m on DAB in just 6 weeks, exceeding all expectations. The station was Global’s most successful pop-up, beating Taylor’s Version and Radio X Oasis by 50% over a shorter period.

It’s no surprise that the campaign has been shortlisted across three categories:

·      Best Use of Audio

·      The Creative Use of Media Award

·      Best Branded Content

A Huge Thank You

A critical partner, and a huge reason for the success of this campaign - Global Media. We cannot thank you enough for working with us on this. The expertise, scale and creative execution provided were instrumental in bringing the concept to life. Truly embodying the power of collaboration, we could not have done this without you!

Also, a huge congratulations to the entire team involved in bringing this campaign to life. And, of course, to Netflix for working with us again and trusting us to push boundaries and deliver something truly distinctive. And thank you to Festival of Media Global Awards for this incredible TRIPLE recognition.

Winners will be announced on June 11th, 2026, and we are beyond excited to hear the results. Congratulations to all who were shortlisted, especially our sister agencies Carat & dentsu X!
