eBay has appointed dentsu’s iProspect as its global media agency following a competitive review that was launched in April this year aimed at transforming eBay’s decentralized, market-based model into a more centralized model.
iProspect will be responsible for generating new business in three regions and seven markets: U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Australia. We will focus on accelerating eBay’s global transformation ambitions, which will include a sophisticated approach to portfolio management in media including increased use of first-person data within a cross-category campaign strategy.
True to our reputation for radical collaboration, we will integrate our media expertise with eBay’s in-house performance media into one centralized operating model that provides global consistency and efficiency with local agility and nuance.
A spokesperson for iProspect said: "iProspect is honored to be partnering with eBay's visionary team in fully leveraging their market potential and helping drive their global transformation journey. Our shared vision for accelerating growth and optimizing performance across the media funnel through innovation, data and technology was clear throughout the entire process. We are excited about our future success together."
The contract is for three years starting in January 2025.
