Google announced May 2013 that it now supports Schema.org markup for logos within search results. Learn what this means for marketers.

By adding additional markup code to their websites, marketers will now have the ability to tell Google which logo should be displayed in the Knowledge Graph results. Let’s think back to 2011. Google, Yahoo!, and Bing committed to creating standardized tags to better search and index structured markup data on web pages. While they’ve been fairly silent on this initiative over the last two years, Google announced on May 16 that it now supports Schema.org markup for logos within search results.
