Commending our Caregivers Happy Mothers Day From iProspect

newsMay 5, 2022

Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate motherhood and show appreciation for not only mothers but caregivers, from (great-) grandmothers, stepmothers, foster mothers, to mother figures. Being a role model and caregiver requires daily commitment and attention - regardless of gender – it requires courage, work hard, and perseverance through adversity. This Mother's Day, we celebrate ALL the people in our lives who have shown us how to be the best versions of ourselves.

At iProspect, we encourage our employees to find the right balance between work and home life. We understand that all of our workers have a life outside the office and that many are also parents and/or have a caregiving role. Supporting our people in every way we can is a high priority, whether it be offering an extensive parental leave, caregiver leave, therapy, and specialist support in adoption and surrogacy to make parenthood accessible to all those that wish to partake in the journey.

We are proud to highlight some of the caregivers at our agency, whose dedication to fostering and cultivating growth, personally and professionally, have helped to shape the ways we operate today and they’re the backbone of what makes iProspect such a dynamic agency. Happy Mother’s Day!

How has dentsu supported you as a working mother/parental figure?

My career advocates and team members have always been supportive of my desire to balance my family and my career. Everyone is so understanding if my kid(s) are sick, or I just need to spend the time with them. This has helped shape me into the leader I am today and given me the ability to pass that same sentiment to my team & colleagues.

I feel like the flexible-time-off policy and overall culture is supportive of flexibility and understanding that life happens, and we all need to pivot every now and then. The iProspect culture allows us to have our families as a priority and not feel like that is something we have to hide or apologize for. I love that our leadership has lots of parents, which fosters this understanding and compassion for other parents juggling work and parenthood.

How do you explain your job to the young children in your life? I usually say, you know those ads on YouTube or that brand filter on Snapchat, those are from my company. I also tell them I am the coach of the winning team, just like in their basketball team.
