What Panda and Payday Mean for the Future of Google Algorithm

Advertisers who put a focus on high-quality content and steer clear of spammy approaches should not see a negative hit – if anything, the Panda update should help move brands with low-quality content out of the way, and the Payday update may clear some poor results for pharmaceutical-related searches.

With roughly 7% of English search queries affected by Panda 4.0, Google recently took a major swing at improving the quality of its search results.  iProspect believes Panda 4.0 and Payday 2.0 indicate Google’s quest for quality is not dead, Google is not afraid to go vertical-specific and quality isn’t just about the sites that are listed.
