Advertising Operations and Analytics involves leading best practices in tracking and ad technology, and flawless setup and mapping of media campaigns. It is critical to ensure good quality data are passed through to the data warehouse. iProspect helps clients achieve transformative change in the digital economy.  Gleaning insights from data is fundamental to that change.  We are looking for a Data Operations and Analytics Manager with a balance of business and technical skills to guide the use of data to understand and optimise media investments.

Role Purpose

As a Digital Data Operations and Analytics Manager, you play an instrumental role to ensure accurate data quality and campaign reporting. You are part of the Global Analytics and Ad Operations team but based in Singapore to support markets in the East region as well as working on global projects managed out of Singapore and/or London. You’ll provide your expertise, coach and mentor others on the best practices and technical know-how. You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and a “can do” attitude and a desire to learn about the digital ad tech space. You have a high technical aptitude and enjoy hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities

Data management and Reporting

  • Oversee data management and governance for a Mobile performance international client.
  • Identify weaknesses in processes and reengineer them
  • Liaison with the Account Management team ensuring a timely launch and correct campaign implementation; addressing any questions/issues that may arise
  • Work with the local teams and 3rd party trafficking vendor for trafficking coordination
  • Support team members on complex campaign setups and escalations to third party vendors when necessary
  • Work with creative agencies for creative & analytics requirements
  • Help to set up reporting process and templates. Create daily/weekly reports.

Development of tools

  • You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services such as dashboard development, analytics tools, decision aids and business case analysis to recommended solutions.
  • Hands-on support for building dashboards, managing users and report generation

Tag Management

  • Deployment of tags across client sites, working in conjunction with the global Ad Ops team and local Ad Ops teams, or directly using a Tag Management System.
  • Responsible for tag implementation and quality checking.
  • Work in conjunction with global and local teams to resolve issues with tags that may not be firing or incorrectly deployed

Special Projects

  • Support the senior members in the team for special project execution

Person Specification

  • 4+ years of experience working in a data & analytics role, ideally for a Media/Advertising agency and/or other consulting / professional services, especially within a matrix organisation – preferably with regional or global clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science a plus
  • Familiarity of campaign management and marketing automation tool
  • Excellent understanding of Excel
  • Preferred: Experience implementing & using some of the following tools/vendors (key platforms highlighted in bold):
  • - Data Visualization: Tableau, Datorama, Nugit
  • - Site/App Analytics: Branch
  • - Programming language experience such as R or Python and SQL
  • Diligent with a strong attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and well-organised
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An active interest in everything digital, ideally with an understanding of online advertising industry trends
  • A self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations articulating analytical insights
  • Strong team player
