iProspect Launches 30 x 30 at Cannes Lion 2017

iProspect Launches 30 x 30

A Global Accelerator Programme that educates, mentors and provides access to female entrepreneurs with businesses underpinned by technology.

In September 2016, iProspect launched Female Foundry Singapore – a pilot that invited female founders from South and South East Asia to apply for an eight week accelerator programme. The curriculum included 1-1 mentorship sessions, an immersive boot camp and pitch participation at a Demo Day for Series A funding.

iProspect and Dentsu Aegis Network are committed to scaling this initiative across markets and scope by 2020 – 30 x 30 will bring this ambition to fruition. 30 x 30 is a commitment to launch the Female Foundry in 30 markets over the next 30 months. A blueprint has been rolled out and launch markets have been identified across Asia Pacific (12), Latin America (5) EMEA (11) and North America (2). 2017 will see Phase 1 launch in Asia Pacific and Latin America.

The support infrastructure will extend from Dentsu Aegis Network leadership to the training and development agenda and will include clients, investor institutions and Media and Technology partners, as efforts independently driven cross paths.

The 30 x 30 platform will be built around three key pillars: education, mentorship and access. Once Female Foundry is live in a market, female entrepreneurs will be invited apply at the thefemalefoundry.com portal. Once enrolled, selected participants will receive a full debrief from iProspect and the twelve-week programme will commence.

  1. Education: Founders will be guided through an online curriculum that leverages business performance and digital strategy best practice.
  2. Mentorship: Founders will be paired with a mentor to run tailored learning sessions, covering topics specific to the needs of the individual.
  3. Access: Founders will be connected to a wider global network of female entrepreneurs to share experiences and learnings. In each market, Dentsu Aegis Network will partner with leading tech organizations, arranging events such as: boot camps, site visits and demo days.

The ambition of 30 x 30 has two facets:

  1. Connect entrepreneurs with a global network of female founders and key contacts within the technology landscape in their local market.
  2. With a robust digital curriculum, access to a mentor and organized demo days, put entrepreneurs in the best position possible to obtain funding, propelling their businesses into the next phase of growth.
