Role Purpose:

At its core, the role of the Performance Activation Specialist is to implement paid media

campaigns across all relevant digital channels / platforms to achieve the aims of

iProspect and Dentsu Aegis Network clients. You will be trained on how to best utilize these channels, building a strong knowledge of campaign management and reporting.

The Performance Activation Specialist role is an entry level role for someone with some experience and who is passionate about digital media. You will be expected to learn advance digital strategies and take responsibility for building, monitoring, optimizing, and reporting on campaign execution, aligned to client objective and performance KPIs. A keen attention to detail, ability to manage your own time effectively and excellent numerical skills will be essential for the successful candidate.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Performance specialised Paid Digital Media programs (search, display and social), maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
  • Execute cross channels strategies for clients from various industry verticals, helping to create a roadmap of initiatives to enable defined objectives & KPI’s.
  • Work closely with digital and tech vendors to understand their roadmaps and asses opportunities in relation to our clients.
  • Devise and Execute A/B tests to drive continuous optimization, bringing learnings in to future campaign activities
  • Measure and analyse results. Regular reports on what is working, what is not and propose adjustments to strategies and tactics.
  • Understand organizational and product goals and map them to specific project deliverables.
  • Partner with other digital channels to align overall strategy and message.

                 

Key Experience & Attributes:

  • Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience in a Performance, social media planning or biddable media / PPC team.
  • Practical expertise in performance activation on self-service biddable platforms
  • Additional tech platforms experience is an advantage: SA360, Campaign Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Marin, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns for large scale local / regional clients.
  • Experience in writing paid search ad copies, trafficking, tagging & executing A/B tests
  • High level of Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, charts and formulae. SQL and python are a plus
  • Solid quantitative/analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting recommendations to all management levels as well as coordinating with publishers / key agency partners such as Google, Facebook etc..
  • Enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to interact well with people on a personal and professional level and to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.

Time split:

Media planning, buying and reporting 60%

Managing clients and delivery 20%;

Media Operations 20%;

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality campaigns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Have built strong relationships with DAN and client partners
  • Be following all Media Operations processes and Digital best practices
  • Contribute towards case study development, platform POVs and internal training
