The Content Marketing Institute announced this week that iProspect Australia won a 2017 Content Marketing Award for Best Content Strategy. The Content Marketing Awards, produced by the Content Marketing Institute, is the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards program in the world. This year’s panel of all-star judges reviewed more than 1,100 entries to choose the “best of the best” in content marketing excellence, recognizing all aspects of content marketing, from strategy to distribution, and from editorial to design.
iProspect won Best Content Strategy for its work with Starwood Hotels for their innovative content marketing solution ‘Momentum’. By using first-party data paired with social listening, search volume, trends analysis, and qualitative information from iProspect’s proprietary audience profiling tools, they honed in on segments of the market that represented the greatest commercial opportunities. Creating MOMENTUM.travel, a bespoke online magazine that facilitates upper-funnel engagement with aspiring travellers through unique content, iProspect was able to cut through saturated online travel content and reach new audiences through paid social activity, influencer marketing and content discovery. The strategy lead to nine million social post engagements, more than four million video plays, and a ground-breaking ROI of 5:1.
