Digital agency iProspect UK has poached Havas Helia’s head of content and strategy Lee Thomas to head its Create division, which, the agency boasts, “blends data driven insights with strategy and art to develop content that really matters to people”.
How Create differs from Helia’s content division is not known; Thomas was at the Havas agency – which itself claims to be “staffed by inquisitive thinkers and creators” – for just over two years.
Thomas has over 12 years’ experience within the digital sector, having started his career at Haygarth (now part of Rapp). Within two years he was promoted to digital director, looking after brands such as Nestle, Faberge and Wrigleys.
In 2007, he joined SapientNitro DAD as head of digital and in 2009 moved to jpmh where he led the European office, maintaining and growing the Nestle Purina business and increasing revenue by 30%.
The new role sees Thomas take on leadership and strategic accountability across all content and social output for the agency. He will report to Ben Sutherland, chief performance officer.
Sutherland said: “Lee has a strong background in understanding brands and the power a successful digital strategy can have for them. His past experience has seen him deliver above and beyond for all of his clients.
