Dentsu Aegis Network has been appointed by Microsoft to run its global advertising, media buying and planning since April 2014. Microsoft is one of the most prestigious clients in the Dentsu Aegis Network portfolio and services the full suite of products such as Xbox, Surface and Azure for over 80 markets across the world.

We are now looking for a Supervisor to work on Microsoft full time. The Supervisor's role is managerial, but also one of agency leadership, to manage the processes and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, cleansing, reporting, and analysis. Working closely with the media teams to ensure that the right measurement strategies and “test and learn” plans are in place; the Supervisor is ultimately responsible for the quality and timeliness of work being delivered to our client.    


The Supervisor has experience in identifying solutions in sprawling data sets and has the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our client. They will work closely with leaders across media teams, external research parties, technology teams, and local markets to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the analytics team to follow.

We're looking for a high-energy collaborator who is experienced working across complex pieces of business. The candidate is required to have proven experience building strong relationships with both internal teams and clients. With business acumen and client charisma the candidate will navigate and understand the client's culture, business objectives, and media strategy, and will have an appetite for innovation.


  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting-related team deliverables
  • Help train, develop, and supervise associate-level employees
  • Oversee data/reporting requests: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Drive successful completion of all reports and deliver actionable insights to the client and media team through the effective management of analysts and collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership
  • Demonstrate knowledge of client brands, their brand equity, and their consumers
  • Feed into the vision for measurement, reporting, and analytics across the line of business for which the candidate is responsible
  • Support and drive the client “test and learn” philosophy for measurement


  • 2-6 years of experience in analytics with expertise in digital media
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills, experience building reports from scratch
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • People management experience preferred
  • Client facing experience within media agencies or publishers highly desired
  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong mathematics or statistics background preferred
  • Data principles: collecting data from multiple data systems, cleansing & harmonisation, cloud-based data sources, data standardisation and mapping, and a general understanding of data modelling and its benefits
  • Technical hands-on skills such as SQL are a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills, and presenting to stakeholders both internally and externally
