Last month, TechCrunch reported on a possible partnership between Snapchat and Amazon. The news that Snapchat was building a visual search feature that drives traffic to Amazon's listings fueled industry whisperings that this feature and partnership could open doors for a new revenue stream for both platforms. Additionally, it also raised the question around a potential affiliate referrals scheme between Snapchat and Amazon.
