Digital Project Coordinator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head of Digital Project Management, the Digital Media Project Coordinator has a pivotal role to play in coordinating between the production and sales teams. He will provide operational leadership in the production and delivery of high-performing digital marketing projects. He is ultimately accountable for the success and profitability of his projects.

To succeed, he must:

  • Act as a leader on his projects while encourage a good rapport among colleagues
  • Develop a calendar for delivery and have it at his fingertips at all time, in order to react rapidly to new demands
  • Supervise each step of execution on his projects
  • Work proactively on streamlining processes, while encouraging collaboration between teams
  • Re-enforce internal processes that are key to the organization’s success (e.g. creation of briefs, entry of hours into timesheets, etc.

The digital media project coordinator is responsible for ensuring a harmonious relationship between teams (and with himself) in order to create an environment favourable to the organization’s success and to the success of client projects. He must also ensure a tight management of the parameters of his own projects, with the goal of ensuring delivery within the prescribed deadlines and respecting the allotted budget.

Main Responsibilities

  • Management of client projects;
  • Supervise internal and external digital marketing projects, in collaboration with a strategist and/or account director, for a portfolio of clients;
  • Maintain a daily follow-up with the client, the Digital Business Strategist and the production specialists;
  • Plan projects and act as a central point of communication;
  • Communicate elements of the brief to internal teams, and ensure comprehension of the objectives and underlying strategy;
  • Supervise the execution of the various stages of production;
  • Prioritize among the production teams and handle conflicts of resources, time and budget;
  • Integrate, maintain and communicate information linked to project performance;
  • Aggregate and communicate performance reports in a format that is pertinent to the client;
  • Ensure the respect of schedules, quality of projects and budget;
  • Ensure that the information about his/her projects is entered into the production calendar.

Requirements

Professional experiences
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position in the digital field;
  • 1 year of experience in project management;
  • 1 year of experience in an agency (an asset).
Academic training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or the equivalent;
  • PMP training or other project management certification (asset).
Specific competencies and abilities
  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • Excellent oral and written expression;
  • Strong ability in project management;
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams;
  • Knowledge of digital marketing (mobile marketing, CRO, SEO & PPC, display campaigns, social media advertising, web analytics);
  • Ease in developing relationships;
  • Sense of organization and of priorities;
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage conflicts;
  • Tact and diplomacy;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Methodical;
  • Proven interpersonal skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and online project management/production software.
