Job Summary

The Account lead understands clients’ business needs and provides strategic and operational leadership in delivering digital performance results for our clients. The Account Lead manages senior level client relationships and is responsible for the company’s contribution to clients’ business challenges.

As the Account Lead, you are the bridge between the agency and its clients. Externally, you represent the agency, the team, and our work. Internally, you represent the client and their objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage digital performance projects for a client portfolio and lead the development of meaningful solutions;
  • Build and implement strategic performance marketing plans for your client(s)
  • Supervise and manage Account Manager(s) and contribute to their growth;
  • Work on daily basis with the client to understand and analyze its needs and business goals;
  • Coordinate with partner agencies for digital strategy as it relates to the clients objectives;
  • Work closely with department heads to keep them informed of all client activities;
  • Create briefing documents for clients and defines optimal strategies;
  • Supervise the development of proper tactics to support the defined strategy and achieve client’s goals;
  • Aggregate and communicate performance reports in a relevant format to each respective client;
  • Organize meetings with the resources to analyze various strategies and tactics implemented for clients, as well as their respective contributions;
  • Ensure that all communications, reports, presentations and delivered work to clients comply with client’s quality standards, demands and needs;
  • Provide relevant follow-up on the action plan execution to the internal team;
  • Identify new opportunities for current accounts and communicate them to Sales and Team Leads;
  • Identify problem-accounts and discuss with his supervisor the actions to take for each of them.

Requirements

  • 3 years on a similar position, in the digital industry;
  • 2 years of experience in agency;
  • Strong knowledge of perfromance marketing (paid social, paid search, SEO, analytics, display)
  • Previous experience with e-commerce clients would be considered as an asset;
  • BA in commerce, marketing or equivalent;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Conflict management (tact and diplomacy);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Good knowledge of Adwords considered an asset.
