Due to growth, we are on the lookout for a Strategy Director to join our team in Sydney. This role would be taking a lead on all things strategy and planning for some of Australia's and the globes, best clients.

What your typical day will look like:

  • To be the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of clients in which you will develop strong working relationships with marketing points of contact as it relates to strategic product and delivery
  • To be the champion of the client’s customer with a passion for business growth
  • Be able to foster positive and productive ways of working with agency peers, and ability to engage and influence peers across Dentsu
  • Responsible for the guiding and developing manager level talent
  • Support the HoS / GSD with agency inspiration, thought leadership and training
  • Produce all key strategic outcomes from diagnosis, audience recommendations and insights and comms frameworks with light guidance from senior support
  • To work with the client and investment teams to ensure that the strategic platform developed is carried through to the media plan
  • Actively contribute to agency thought leadership on direction of senior team members Identification and development of award worthy work from the inception of the strategic response

A bit about you:

  • Previous experience within a strategic or planning role with experience across diverse or complex businesses
  • You have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to pick up and gain a strong understanding of the different categories in a client portfolio
  • You have the ability to interpret data, drive insights and communicate this effectively to support your strategy and provide reasoning
  • You're confident to challenge, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
  • An understanding and interest across media and advertising
