SEO Manager

The SEO Manager will devise and deliver SEO projects and strategies for our clients and will work closely with project coordinators, editors, external agencies and the search team to maximize organic traffic and improve client rankings. The SEO Manager will implement the SEO strategy to facilitate customer commercialization in accordance with business strategy and lead web governance by monitoring search engine ranking, including the internal verity search engine as well as internet search engines, such as Google, Bing and Yahoo, and develop search-related reports.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and execute SEO strategy
  • Communicate to clients, team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, and internet marketing industry trends and development
  • Effectively manage the communication and deliverables for all clients
  • Monitor industry changes and translate this into actionable recommendations
  • Understand and articulate the iPropsect vision and strategy  to clients and staff
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor for the more junior team members
  • Act as a role model to the Dentsu Aegis Network values
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of client websites and web pages
  • Liaise with the team to effectively deliver all aspects of an holistic SEO campaign
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies and effectively report SEO progress

The minimum requirements for this position:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with an advanced understanding of the process
  • Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
  • Experience working with a variety of CMS’s and building/administering content in multiple environments
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office products
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
  • Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and paid sources
  • Overall passion for SEO with an ability to think creatively and strategically to resolve problems
