PPC Manager

The PPC Manager will demonstrate the ability to execute client projects and deliverables of Paid Search disciplines across client verticals and service platforms, and will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of Paid Search campaign performance and strategies to ensure on-time delivery and properly communicate initiatives to help achieve client goals. This position plays an integral role in leading the development and growth of the Paid Search channel team and providing project expertise to clients, partners and other external audiences.

 Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational success of accounts and ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Owns all outcomes; effectively prioritizes efforts to focus on delivering on the most important things
  • Plans, manages and executes Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
  • Audits, reviews and analyzes reports, lead optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives and performance; assist Account Supervisor with client communications around paid search knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to the client
  • Works to collaboratively to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results
  • Responsible for ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives including but not limited to negative keyword strategies, website and category exclusions , ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance history and the client's objectives
  • Consistently looks for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to iProspect success
  • Responsible for daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions and bid management
  • Forecasts paid search growth and regularly communicating opportunity with the client
  • Leverages support from Data and Insights team to assist with forecasting when necessary
  • Works closely with Strategy, Data and Insights and Service Delivery team to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions
  • Understands a project's goals and works collaboratively  to achieve results
  • Monitors industry changes and translates those into actionable recommendations
  • Understands and can articulate the iProspect vision and strategy  to clients and staff
  • Provides guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members
  • Leads by example and acts as a mentor for the more junior team members

  • Builds trust and maintains strong client relationships
  • Acts as a point of contact for the clients and is responsive to all client requests and inquiries
  • Understands clients' brands, structure and industry
  • Participates in client meetings and presentations
  • Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on Paid Search industry topics

The minimum requirements for this position:

  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles  and excellent project management skills
  • Ability to be an advanced technical/discipline leader, and manage client communication without  requiring Account Supervisor involvement
  • Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations – i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
  • Experience in managing large scale, complex paid search/PPC campaigns
  • Technical understanding of digital performance marketing i.e. Bought, Owned and Earned products and services such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management and Display Marketing
  • Experience with Paid Search Platforms
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed orientation and project management ability
  • Experience with Paid Search Platforms like Marin, Kenshoo, DS3, Certification a plus
  • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification
  • 3+ years’ experience in a digital agency setting
