iProspect UK to drive digital strategy for iconic British charity ahead of Red Nose Day 2026.

Newcastle, UK – January 2025 – iProspect, the Dentsu digital-first media agency, has been appointed as the digital media agency for Comic Relief, the UK charity that uses the power of entertainment and popular culture to drive positive change.

iProspect will help Comic Relief evolve its well-known ‘funny for money’ spirit for a new generation, blending comedy, creativity and innovation across digital channels. The appointment encompasses digital media for all of Comic Relief’s major fundraising campaigns and activations, while also tapping into the gaming world to explore new opportunities for collaborations.

Founded in 1985 by screenwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Sir Lenny Henry, Comic Relief has become a cornerstone of British popular culture through its major fundraising events, Red Nose Day and Sport Relief, which have raised over £1.6 billion to date for causes tackling poverty, mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse both in the UK and internationally.

Angharad McKenzie, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Comic Relief, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with iProspect as we look to be bolder, braver and more digitally driven than ever before. Their creativity and digital know-how will help us bring more joy, more impact and more supporters into the fold. Together, we’ll be creating work that cuts through the noise, reaches new audiences, and inspires even more people to join us in making a difference.”

Camille Carter, Managing Partner at iProspect, said: "Comic Relief is an institution that has brought joy to millions whilst making a profound difference to people's lives. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such an iconic British charity and help it connect with donors in new and meaningful ways. We can't wait to get started on Red Nose Day 2026 and beyond."

James Bailey, CEO of iProspect UK, added: "This appointment represents everything we stand for at iProspect - using our digital expertise to drive genuine impact for brands. Comic Relief's mission to use entertainment and humour as a force for good aligns perfectly with our belief that marketing should be purposeful and people-centred. We're proud to support Comic Relief as they continue to make a difference to communities across the UK and around the world."
